Women Serve

The Community United Methodist
Women are women in mission to
women and children throughout the
world by actively supporting
missions of the United Methodist
Church.
Mission efforts in the local church and community are equally important
and supported.
General meetings are at 1:00 p.m. on the third Monday
of January, March, April, September, and December. Smaller
group meetings (circles) are held monthly for prayer, study, and
fellowship.
1. The Rebecca Circle meets at 10:00 a.m. on the fourth Wednesday of
each
month, except June and July.
2. The Dorcas Circle meets at 1:00 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each
month,
except June and July.
3. The Women Light of Christ Circle is comprised of working women who
meet
as needed and share concerns and activity news via Internet and
telephone messages.
With the support of all UMW members,
this circle opened a Clothes Closet of good, gently used clothing for
community use.
The primary means of raising funds for mission support is a Christmas
bazaar each November.
Any woman interested in supporting missions to women and children is
invited to attend and participate.
